  1. Make sure to establish solid ground rules from the get-go. 
  2. Don’t push him to handle the details he couldn’t care less about. 
  3. Be cool with being The Bride. 
  4. Try not to live with your in-laws. 
  5. Don’t go to town criticizing his parents/family when they overstep their bounds.
  6. Don’t get too defensive when he criticizes your parents/family.
  7. Try not to let the wedding take over your lives. 
  8. Feel free to yell, scream, cry, throw your hands up in disgust, etc.
